EZER ÉV PARKJA (PARK OF A THOUSAND YEARS) "THE BEST IN SMALL THINGS"
The renewed Park of a Thousand Years outdoor model park opened its doors in 2015.
The open-air exhibition space brings the architectural symbols and historical monuments of historical Hungary within reach in a two-hectare area. 1:25 scale models depict churches, forts, castles, palaces and monuments, taking into account their geographical location as well. For better demonstration, a scaled-down copy of the Danube and Tisza rivers flow between the models, and Lake Balaton has also taken its place among them.
Visitors can take advantage of a number of services to explore the park, including digital guided tours via tablet, various thematic booklets with quizzes, and dressing up in contemporary clothes and knight robes for an even greater experience.
In case of a group excursion, thematic museum educational guidance can be requested, as well as an outsourced lesson program with museum educational workshops.
